We keep open support requests in the private WordPress inbox. Closed requests and their reply history are deleted after 90 elapsed days, except while an intentional retention hold, an active staff edit or unresolved email delivery defers cleanup. Reopening a request starts a new 90-day period when it is closed again. Cleanup uses the site scheduler, so deletion may occur after the cutoff. WordPress deletion does not remove separate email copies, server or provider logs, or backups.
